The activity of the Directorate of the Fertő-Hanság National Park is extremely diverse, its tasks include, among other things, nature conservation management activities, research and attitude formation based on all of these, with the purpose of presenting the natural values of the operational area Fertő-Hanság National Park Directorate to the interested visitors.
There are several show places in the operating area, of which the following are managed and operated by Directorate of Fertő-Hanság National Park:

- István Csapody – Nature School – Fertőújlak
- Csárda Nature Conservation Center – Balf
- The Living World of Hanság Exhibition – Öntésmajor
- Kócsagvár – Sarród
The ecotourism sites that present the flora and fauna and impart nature knowledge were created with the aim of shaping attitudes, as they teach environmental awareness and love of nature.
These show places are deservedly popular among families, kindergarten and school groups, nature walkers, hikers and nature lovers. It is worth visiting all of them, as each presentation site is based on a different theme, approaches from a different direction and presents our natural values in a different way, but in the case of all of them it can be said that they convey interesting and useful information to the visitors in an entertaining way, based on experiences.
Permanent program elements and exhibitions await visitors at the various exhibition sites, but it is also worth paying attention to the advertisements announcing occasional events and temporary exhibitions on the national park’s website and social media platforms.
